Living the dream

Postby maxm » Wed Nov 29, 2017 10:40 pm

It was great to bump into Norm and Paul today at the ramp while I was doing some boat maintenance. Turns out that they're living the dream by living aboard their boats! Good on you blokes. I wish I could get my life organised that way, even if it was only for a couple of months.

Wow Max......

Not sure I share your fantasy but I’ve only got an 18. I find two or three nights on the 18 enough. When we spend a week on the Clarence we cheat and stay in a cabin for two nights while in Iluka.

My fantasy is a Winabeggo / RV towing my 18 around Australia and I keep fantasizing about it. Mary and I can live in the RV and when my woman gets sick of me I disappear on the boat for a few days before travelling on to the next destination.

I really must trial the format to see if the reality is anything like the fantasy. If not I can invent another dream!
