CCYA membership numbers

Postby paul trotter » Sat May 06, 2017 6:21 pm

The last CCYA minutes indicated that membership is lagging and down to SUB 50 from the heady days of PLUS 200.

For out of towners the cost is $25 which is outragously cheap!

So what's happening? Cash too tight? Nil interest? No value?

Let us know what the CCYA should be doing to keep you as a valued member?

What sort of events or activities should we be conducting to get more value out of your amazing boat?

- Triangle racing?
- Passage races?
- More cruises?
- Day sails for the busy family?
- Sail / Camping Trips?
- Open Days?
- More training?

These boats are just too much fun to leave in your garage or under a silver tarp!

Think about your rego and insurance, maintenance costs. We should all be out in our Careel 18s at least once per month to be getting value out of these boats!

Let us know on this forum or on facebook how the CCYA can help you get value out of your boat!
