WANTED

I have managed to completely seriously twist and bend out of shape and crush the tubular stainless steel frame on the stern of my Mk 2 Careel 18 no 180.
I am referring to the frame that is mounted on the combings and holds the boom traveller . It is definitely a serious engineering job to fix . I am posting this in the unlikely event that someone might have one to sell . Or advice on where a reasonably priced replacement might be found .I am located in Central Victoria near Castlemaine .

Bummer! That's generally known as the pushpit and they tend to be made to spec. Do you have insurance? If so you could make it their problem. Otherwise it'd be a case of finding a reasonable fabricator that works in stainless tubing.

Oh and if it's any comfort, I doubt you're the first.

Thanks for your advice Max. I discovered I have paid my insurance so now am preparing a claim . Mike
But if anyone does have a spare pushpit rails it probably would be resolved quicker .
