Damaged Fibreglass Repair

Postby Mango » Sat May 12, 2018 4:41 pm

Hi all,

After the Bay2Bay race last weekend I incurred a hole in my hull after the wind pushed my boat on to the tip of a catamaran which pieced the hull above the waterline.

Are there any recommendations for a repairer in the Sydney or Newcastle area?

Thanks,

John

Not really fibreglass repairs but I did get these guys to respray one side of my hull quite a few years ago after a trailer problem put a big gouge down the length of it. They were good, did a great job. Ever since then I keep hoping something will happen to the other side so I can get that resprayed! Can't say they were cheap but then insurance was paying so that wasn't an issue. Could also be a bit far depending on where you are in Sydney.

Depends where in Sydney you are but you could try Rob Brown at Putney or Brett Van Munster at Morrisset
