TROTTS. Fired Up, Fired Up you say, we won't need to get Fired Up, Trotts !!!!! Not for a walk in the park !!!! Us NSW guys will be there to ward off any challenge in this S of O, with a solid team. ( as the Qld ex- Premier Joe used to say : DON'T YOU WORRY ABOUT THAT !!! ) At least in numbers to eq...

O.K. All you NSW people, we are at a stage where we need to get knowledgeable about who can come along to this Clarence River State of Origin Classic. Further, to the NOR and info which has appeared in the last two Careel News,a nomination form should be appearing. But, if your able to make your int...

Max. In my lucky circumstance the pin holes, ply work in the case, etc, were all in very good sound condition, accepting CB (easy fix ). I did however make sure, as sure as I could be thru leveling and various measurement checks, that the pin location holes were in fact as right as they could be, I ...

Trotts & Pete. What I found very quick and easy when re-installing the CB back into the case, was as you say Trotts , using tape to hold the blocks to CB. However, before installing, if you then cut some tubing or something the same diameter as your pin and a whisker shorter than the total width...

pdandy, don't get me wrong buddy, I never said , we NEED a measurer. I would not like the situation where every little thing has to be approved by the likes of one necessarily either. Pain in the ....... that would certainly be. There are also officals that can also help answer our questions. James ...

I think its more than likely ok as well. Peter has a question on it. It won't hurt to ask that question. Where there is some confusion, ask, be sure. Trust that potti doesn't fall onto the tank commander !!!!!

The Smooth PETER, Yes, given no measurer, I guess you'll need to contact the National Organisers to gain that grand approval, before you pay for fittings and drill holes. You may require a new longer mainsheet. It'll be an interesting case, especially if in fact that note is in play and not just a s...

The Careel has stood the test of time obviously very well and does have a solid format and design. I guess that's basically the big reason why we don't have a measurer James, we simply haven't the big need. Like you say there aint much you can fiddle with or alter to change the performance, be it wi...

GUYS,GUYS,GUYS, settle, look at me, look at me !!!! All this rule stuff started up because I dared to be contrary. You won't find me contrary when and where it matters most. Also, we all realise there's a few others, who'd like for example a better mainsheet system, ah, Peter!! Peter, the note in the...

By the way and to deviate from the stern matters above. A lady golfer went down onto the course with some friends, teed off and started off to what should have been a good day. However she got stung by bee. Not being able to put up with the pain, she announced to her friends that she would have to c...

Peter. There you go, you have your issue solved apparantly, regarding your mainsheet. I can understand some of your questions and thus strange thoughts towards the rules regarding, rudders, centreboards, etc, these are critical items. Have these items always been unrestricted in the form that they a...
