Re: Careel 18 new owner

The number could be on a tiny plaque in one of lockers in cockpit or look under floor of cockpit maybe painted on.... Yes a Mk1 but do the sliding hatch up grade and a few modifactions like original rudder and will make sailing a lot easier...

Re: Motor support replacement

I did see a few use them but really is it required. I did try one but found it was more a nusisance when entering the shallows as it was to deep and then had to lean (in person) over transom to pull up to allow to use close to shore.....

Re: Tow tug

Hi all,
Really like this story. The new 2012 plus Corolla has a capacity to tow a un braked trailer of 450kg and braked of 1300kg but comparing it to a 2012 plus Camry of 500kg / 1200 kg. . It's mainly power to weight ratio.
Maybe a cheep sonata is for sale but location not very friendly.... Lol

Gee Mr Lee I luv it when someone brings up the old Super Storm in Newcastle...

Re: Qlders visit Myalls from 10th December 2012

Hi QLDners
Great to see happy snaps of the Myall Lakes again. Looked like you enjoyed the trip down. I used to enjoy the venture to Myalls several times a year now on the blind side of what happens in the careel world...other than the QLd input....

Cheers
