Hi there, it looks like you have a non standard keel winch arrangement for a careel. The standard arrangement for a mark 1 or Mark 2 is to have a pulley system or winch where the cable attaches to the top back of the centreboard (yes the top) and pulls the top back towards the compression past that ...

The Byrd is right. The 4 stroke , 6 HP is very economical, about twice as good as the two stroke. Also clean. No oil slick smell or oil mixing. Shits me to tears having to follow a smelly two. if I had too buy new, I wouldn't buy two stroke. Go up to two cylinder four if you can deal with the weight...

Brilliantly organised and run event. We enjoyed the close racing with Don and and the girls on storm. There is some very good sailing pedigree in this family. Looking forward to the next series at Lake Catharaba. Will it be a Ray family event again?

These videos are really wonderful and entertaining to watch. The guy delivering has a dry sense of humour and makes all concepts easy to absorb. Learn about not being stuck in Coles, Wallyworld or Dear God!!!

Yep. Something like 10 years in a row missing the wedding anniversary to head south. Not this time. I have a very understanding wife.

Hang on - Brain now switched on;

Tides generally run out to the North. There will be some pull in the opposite direction at the Spit and the Jumpinpin bars, but otherwise the tides should be favourable for both days...:-)
